I was looking for a vacation rental in Madrid and came across this guy too using the name Miguel Garcia and asking for a 700Euro deposit on a 450Euro stay at an apartment on 30 Plaza Mayor. I’m suprised someone hasn’t sent this turd a virus that wipes out his computer already.

OMG i was about to send this person the money but something stopped me. i found this web page and all my fears were confirmed. Just be aware “he” is now going under the name of Julie cooper the emails are almost identical to the ones above. Glad i listen to my instinct. I am from the UK so if anyone knows how i can go about reporting it to the authorities then please let me know. i have contacted the internet company the apartment was advertised on http://www.escaperental.com. and warned them. Not sure what they will do!!

I wish I had seen this sooner. I just lost $1,400 to Richard Mergan Disney Beach Club Vacation Timeeshare ID#76885. I am devastated! Half of my family’s vacation fund for the year is gone! My kids are going to be heartbroken! I never thought there were people out there who did things like this. Very niave! Never again … I learned my lesson the hard way.
